On Thursday, March 8, 2012, a Honda Civic slid into the path of a Subaru Legacy and was torn in half in a two car accident near Pioneer Rocks on WV Highway 7 just outside of Morgantown.  The Honda collided with a Subaru Legacy driven by Joshua Hayes.  The front half of the Honda and driver were approximately fifty yards up the road from the Honda’s rear half and the Subaru.  The driver of the Honda was transported to Ruby Memorial Hospital.
